Internet of things (various TODO) Adding 'things' to a network and therefore informing the rest of the network - everything connected, everything networked.2

Is 2008 a good time to be investigating embedded technology and its relationship to human physiology?

DIY is possible:

problems with magnetic interference - multiple electromagnetic waves, limited amount available in one space / environment, lots of environmental issues in terms of interference - not easily solved e.g. an overview of RF interference issues and options (non-engineering reader-friendly presentation)

I.E if we want to connect to a computer / machine interface we need arms, hands, eyes and ears so that we can understand a representation of information provided by that connectivity to the interface. If our devices are going to use location and context to identify to the environment where we are and to us, what is in that environment, what types of wireless communication are going to be effective?
